The 10.2 Kosmos rope by Sterling is part of the Evolution Series of ropes that are designed for trad, sport and multi-pitch climbing.  With the Kosmos' new sheath and core constructions you get an amazingly smooth-clipping rope that is incredibly durable, helping to eliminate the feeling of dread when climbing over a sharp roof or edge.  

The Kosmos is a very balanced rope made with DryCore, a Sterling proprietary coating process applied to all core yarns, and has also been improved to reduce not only moisture absorption, but also yarn-on-yarn abrasion.
