A rugged scrim-reinforced vinyl makes up the bag and is finished off with a Dry Seal^TM  Roll-Top Closure that ensures you don't get anything inside besides what you want.  If you are carrying the bag in an airport, they added D-rings for use with a shoulder strap or even to be used when tying them down to a surface.
