The Five Ten Galileo rock shoe is a lightweight climbing shoe developed by Five Ten's European R&D Team, and then perfected in their Redlands testing facility. The Galileo is designed as a high-performance VELCROŽ brand shoe for high-level climbing. This is a stiff shoe and very supportive, utilizing Five Ten's new Stealth Onyx rubber. 

You'll want to size this shoe as you would a street shoe; you will not benefit from an undersized shoe.

The Galileo was chosen as an Editor's Choice by Climbing Magazine in July 2005. They noted the Stealth Onyx rubber, which "delivered a noticeable increase in both stickiness and firmness over its storied predecessor, C4." They also said that the Galileo, while similar to the popular Anasazi VELCROŽ brand, "is a bit stiffer and a little more relaxed.
