The 3D Fastpacker Mid GTX hiking shoe by Salomon has the base of a trail runner with the upper of a lightweight hiking boot. Combine the two and you get an excellent hiking shoe which is light and stable; great for all day fast packing. The Gore-Tex lining will also keep your feet dry and happy on soggy days or while moving through spring snow patches.  Keep traction while you hike or run on slick, muddy terrain with the Contagrip outsole and stay protected with the Mud Guard built into the top of the shoe.
